Solo is from Richland, Washington and also attended the University of Washington. She started and played every minute in the 2008 Olympics. She was named 2009's US Soccer Female Athlete of the Year. She has even competed on the show Dancing With the Stars. She had to have shoulder surgery in September 2010. Hope has 92 career caps and 50 shutouts!
